Our adventure began back in 1990 in Albanella, in the heart of Campania. Enzo, already an established national and international haulier, and Alvaro, chef at a renowned Italian restaurant in Frankfurt am Main,
decide to combine their passions and skills, creating an extraordinary entrepreneurial adventure.

A bold start and international growth
The inaugural chapter of this story sees us set off with a refrigerated van loaded with delicious Salento buffalo mozzarella, destination Frankfurt. Over the years, this bold initiative has charted a successful course that has allowed us to expand our presence in Italy, France and Germany. Initially focused on catering, we now also serve wholesalers, restaurateurs and Cash-Carry.
Today, the management of the company is in the hands of Luciano, son and grandson, who skilfully manages transport, purchasing and sales, as well as direct distribution to customers using company vehicles. Luciano embodies the love for Italy and its rich culinary tradition, scrupulously selecting the gastronomic specialities of the land.
The Marval Food catalogue offers a wide range of fine products including the best cheeses, the most renowned cured meats, oils, wines and sweet and sour vinegars. Pasta, dry or fresh, the undisputed queen of the Mediterranean diet, finds its place alongside Mozzarella di Bufala Campana, which will win over palates with its delicate goodness.
